Big Announcements from Microsoft Ignite

Microsoft Ignite took place September 24-28, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. During the conference, Microsoft has made big announcements about new features and products across a variety of business areas.

The conference kicked off with Microsoft releasing a “Book of News,” a 27-page compilation of over 80 product and feature announcements. The new releases bridge areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and data, Internet of Things, Azure cloud computing and Microsoft 365 productivity tools.

Following this exciting start, Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, opened the conference with unveiling more news, including an alliance with Adobe and SAP, the Open Data Initiative. This initiative was joined by many other exciting announcements, including:
