I've recently been working with a Kendo Scheduler control. It's a great tool, and fairly simple to customize once you get familiar with it. Something that I found was requested a lot on the Scheduler forums, but not available out-of-box, was to "gray out" or block off time on the scheduler. For example if you only want to your business hours to be available (which may vary day-to-day).

An important part of most technical job hiring processes is the technical interview. The technical interview will assist in separating the job candidates from the total applicant pool. This portion of the interview process tests the skills written on your resume. It also assists in demonstrating your thought process to the hiring team. They often care as much, if not more, about how to reach your decisions versus what decisions your reach. Once you determine that there will be a technical interview as part of your application process, an important question is how will you best prepare?
With CRM 2016, came the Web API; a new endpoint allowing the creation, deletion, update and retrieval of CRM data. While Microsoft has stated that the old 2011 endpoint will remain in order to support backwards compatibility, it has been deprecated, and ideally should not be used for new development.
When applying to companies for your next position, you want to put yourself in the best position possible. Every detail counts, even your resume formatting. While at first glance the font you use on your resume may not seem that important, it is something to definitely not overlook. It is one of the first items a company will look at to present your interest in joining their team. Your resume will play a large role in determining if you will be contacted for an interview or brought into the hiring process. Your font choice can make a difference, so make your selection wisely.
We have entered the era where the customer is king and their preferred channels of service should gain greater focus. More than ever before, social media is proving to be a make it or break it platform for customer service success. On a regular basis, stories surface in the news about social media posts and complaints going viral, leaving the company to resolve, conduct damage control and pick up the pieces. Brands are needing to be more cognizant of their social media presence, what they are posting and how they are interacting with their customers.
When it comes to displaying images on your web portal powered by ADX studio, ADX recommends the use of attachment notes as a storage for images. This approach comes with a lot of benefits since it allows the storage of images with various sizes and aspect ratios. The disadvantage of this approach is that it’s rather cumbersome in CRM directly. It provides a rather detached experience when assigning images to entities that in one way or the other will be used as visual assets on the portal.
When you start development in Salesforce using Apex classes you might struggle at first with building dynamic SOQL queries, specifically when it comes to comparing non-string values - in this example, dates. To start, we have a statement like this which will query active "Resources" objects:
List<Resource__c> resources = Database.query('Select Id, Name FROM Resource__c WHERE Status__c = \'Active\'');
The technical job market is booming. Companies are growing their technical project list and are seeking top talent to assist in those initiatives. How your company goes about seeking that top talent will determine the candidates that you will find. The bigger the company or the more attractive the position, the larger your applicant pool will be. However, how much of a match will those candidates be? It is time to hone in and focus on the art and science of recruiting.
A marketer’s dream is to get the right content in front of the target market prospect who is most likely to become a customer. Determining who fits into that subset is the question. As we enter 2016, marketers will be turning to Business Intelligence (BI) to help determine the answer. Those companies who utilize BI and big data to spot the marketing sweet spot will have the advantage in their marketing outreach.
When applying for a new role, you want to be prepared. If you have gaps on your resume, this could be something hiring managers will look at and question. Your resume is like your initial handshake, you want it to be strong and memorable in a positive way. If not explained, the gap could make a hiring manager believe you are hiding something or have difficulty keeping a job. That is not something they would like to add to their company.
